South Korea’s Something Special and TAICCA sign unscripted copro deal

South Korean format agency Something Special and the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) have signed a two-year co-development and coproduction deal for unscripted IP.

Under the terms of the deal, which is effective from the end of this month, Something Special and TAICCA will develop Something Special’s original paper formats IP for Taiwanese productions.

The collaboration will explore copro opportunities, including working with Taiwanese producers and production companies, engaging Taiwanese celebrities and non-celebrities, and producing shows in Taiwan.

The partnership was formalised last week during the LEAP co-development event in Seoul, which was organised by Something Special, TAICCA and AR Asia Productions to enhance Taiwanese unscripted creativity by mentoring Taiwanese producers and further developing their ideas.
